The Teen Summer Fire Academy is available to students at Wilder, Brookland, and Fairfield Middle Schools. CTE teamed up with the Henrico Fire Academy over 5 years ago to teach students discipline and leadership skills they might not be getting elsewhere. For 4 weeks during each summer a mostly new group of Wilder students get physical training and team building skills like adults receive at Henrico Fire Academy and maybe one day some of these very students could become firefighters.  CTE is helping students grow with many different programs from middle school through their high school graduation.
