Vet I & II students from the ACE Center at Hermitage at the Pet Expo at Richmond Raceway. The event is a yearly fundraiser for the Henrico Humane Society. Vet students brought small animals from their classes and helped younger children “adopt” stuffed animals. They also answered questions about the Vet program. Events at the expo included agility trials, dog races and dog adoptions. Purina gave out free cat litter and dog and cat food and there were numerous booths offering pet merchandise.
