Two Students From 7th-grade Inventions and Innovations Class Invent “Constructo-bot”

The Hawks of Pocahontas Middle school have been busy designing and innovating their way through Mr. Gromling’s 7th-grade Inventions and Innovations class. Students presented their prototypes to the class, which included a Q&A session after presenting. Inventions and innovations included improved and affordable virtual reality glasses, a magnetic phone key for a “pop socket”, and a fingerprint system for lockers. Featured in this photo are students that designed and constructed a robot, “Constructo-bot”, that is used to provide an extra set of hands when on a construction site. The robot, on verbal command, can hand out tools on demands and is able to follow the user on a job site.
