Henrico County students: an exciting path lies ahead, and in the next few weeks you’ll have both

in-person and virtual ways to start your journey. Henrico County Public Schools will hold its annual College and Career Night on Nov. 3 in person at Henrico High School. Students and families will also have three virtual opportunities in October and November to explore college options.
Come to HCPS’ 2021 College and Career Night and sample a smorgasbord of possibilities for education and employment after high school. Students and families are invited to the countywide event to talk with representatives of more than 100 universities, colleges, professional programs and employers such as businesses, government agencies and branches of the military.
HCPS College and Career Night
Who: Henrico County students of all ages and their families are invited.
When: Nov. 3 from 6-8 p.m.
Where: Henrico High School, 302 Azalea Ave., Henrico, Va. 23227
Note: Masks must be worn at the event.
The event uses pre-registration barcodes to help families make the most of their time. Before the College and Career Fair, students should go to https://app.strivescan.com/visit and fill out a brief questionnaire to receive a personal barcode. When they find colleges at the event that pique their interest, students can quickly transfer their contact information by having their personal barcode scanned. The feature reduces crowded aisles glutted with students and parents filling out information cards for colleges.
