Lori Waran, President of Richmond Raceway, visited with marketing students at Freeman High School. She talked to them about the fresh marketing plans for the racetrack while also talking about her past career story. Ms. Waren is only the 4th president of the track’s 76 year history. She succeeds Dennis Bickmeier who left Richmond Raceway to lead Henrico County’s new Sports and Entertainment Authority. There was a full house at the Freeman library and lots of great questions. Fun fact, Ms. Waren’s mother is a former principal at Freeman.
