What is a Career Rodeo? Most know what a career day is. Businesses set up tables and students come and meet with businesses they have questions about. Our “Career Rodeo” is where businesses come and meet students and see them demonstrating their skills, ask the students questions and collect resumes or even interview students on the spot. We had over 250 business and community leaders meet with over 350 students and over 440 resumes were handed out to businesses. Here is a quote from one of our businesses who met with students: “Did you meet any great students today” His reply, “are you kidding? I must have a hundred numbers written down.
