They talked about their career path and opportunities for students. #HenricoCTE #henricova #Henrico #henricocounty #LifeReady #CareerReady #collegeready #criminaljustice #forensics Members of Clark Construction visited and had a conversation about career opportunities with our students working on the new Adult Ed Center at Regency Mall. #HenricoCTE #henricova #Henrico #henricocounty #LifeReady #CareerReady Forensic Investigators with the @richmondpolice Department visited students in our Criminal Justice course. They discussed their daily duties and allowed them to demo some of the tools used during investigations. CTE business students participated in the annual DECA District Competition at Regency Mall. They competed in various business-themed scenarios. Students who perform well will qualify for the DECA State Championship located at Virginia Beach. ACE Center Veterinary Science students toured IDEXX Laboratories. IDEXX is a veterinary reference lab that tests biological samples for various diseases. Short Pump Middle students who are in Mr. Jackson’s Coding class had their annual Cardboard Arcade last night. It coincided with the school’s curriculum fair and parents and other students were able to see and play the many games the students designed, built, and presented at last night’s event. #HenricoCTE #Henrico #henricocounty #henricova #LifeReady #CTEWorks
