Carpenter

Carpenters construct, erect, install, and repair structures made of wood and wood products, build concrete forms, scaffolds, platforms, screening fences and temporary shelters on job sites. Carpenters construct rough wooden frameworks for buildings; install rough window and door frames, partitions, sub-flooring, and sheathing on outer walls and roofs. The carpenter erects metal stud framing which is secured by nails, screws, bolts or welded to form partitions and walls over which dry wall is attached. Finish Carpenters lay out and install moldings, baseboards, doorframes, doors, windows, paneling, cabinets, hardwood floors, stairs, partitions, and other interior and exterior trim.
