The Henrico CTE Summer Building Trades program is a 6 week program that teaches students about many of the traditional trades like carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electricity and HVAC. One of the most important aspects of this program is that the students are learning while actually building a house. This summer program is part of Henrico CTE’s and the Henrico County Vocational/Technical Education Foundation’s House Building Project. The HCVTEF manages and funds this program so that our students are able to get real world training in the traditional trades that are in high demand in today’s marketplace.
