This year due to bad weather we were not able to be at Richmond Raceway Amphitheater. Lucky for us the folks at Saint Paul’s Baptist Church were kind enough, at the last minute, to allow us to move indoors and have our ceremony in their church. It came off without a hitch. Victoria Ferris is a teacher at Varina High School. She teaches the Intro to Culinary Arts and also Nutritional Wellness. Her very successful program gets her students ready for a career in the restaurant industry. Every week her students prepare meals for many of Varina’s sports teams and cater many Henrico County events. She talks with us about what it takes to become a cook and her experiences in the classroom.
