We answer the question students have asked for decades: “When am I ever going to use this?”
Workforce And Career Development prepares students to become more motivated, self-directed learners by understanding the relationship between academics, career and education planning and achieving their own career goals. Through career development students discover who they are, what they like to do and what they do best.
A typical career path today does not necessarily follow the traditional course of high school, college, and long-term employment. Today, there are multiple pathways to rewarding careers. Our focus is on the 3Es – for all students to be enrolled, enlisted, and/or employed. The Department of Workforce and Career Development equips students with credentials and #LifeReady experiences so that they can take ownership in navigating their own career pathway.
