Advanced Career Education Centers Courses

itshere200Career and college prep classes are offered at Henrico County’s Advanced Career Education Centers. Henrico’s  Advanced Career Education follows the National Career Clusters® Framework which provides a vital structure for organizing and delivering quality CTE programs through acecolorhermlearning and comprehensive programs of study. In total, there are 17 Career Clusters in the National Career Clusters Framework, representing more than 47 Career Pathways to help students navigate their way to greater acecolorHSsuccess in college and career. As an organizing tool for curriculum design and instruction, Career Clusters provide the essential knowledge and skills for the 17 Career Clusters and their Career Pathways. It also functions as a useful guide in developing programs of study bridging ACEVRlogo300secondary and postsecondary curriculum and for creating individual student plans of study for a complete range of career options. As such, it helps students discover their interests and their passions and empowers them to choose the educational pathway that can lead to success in high school, college, and career.

  1. This program is exactly what my daughter is interested in and if possible, she can benefit greatly from what this program can offer her.

  2. I am looking to train as a Pharmacy Technicain, please contact in reference to these classes.

      1. Yes, am 63years old retired female, I studied at the Ricmond Technical Center in the early 90’s and got my certificate for Nursing Assistant License, did tours at two Ricmond Nursing homes and worked for a home Heath care company in Richmond, I ruptured my pelvis in the job even doing proper boby mechanics! And had to stop doing this type of work😞

So I want to go back into the medical field if I could😁

    1. Are you a student with Henrico county schools and what grade are you in now? The Pharmacy Tech class is full for the 2017/18 school year and 10th graders next year will be able to sign up for the 2018 fall school year this coming fall. Thank you
